CIMT therapy
What Is A Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy
CIMT is a treatment technique that aims to activate the motor mobility of the paretic arm (limb) in daily living activities by temporarily restraining the use of the unaffected limb or side thereby forcing the use of the paretic limb, called “shaping.”
Our care combines professional therapy with fun-based activities. To reduce the potential negative impact of hourslong immobilization of a limb on the child’s wellbeing, we have developed a unique approach: kinetic storytelling naturally engaging your child’s body.
Our little inpatients will like the spellbinding set design we developed for this purpose. Together with the delightful storyline, it will transport them onto a tiny island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. There, without modern tools and devices, children will be tasked with building a tropical village, collecting food, and hunting wild animals, all the while engaging in bird spotting.

Theraphy Tailored to Your Child’s Individual Needs
- hemiplegic children affected by children’s cerebral palsy
- children affected by brachial plexus palsy
- children affected by learned upper limb nonuse phenomenon

Our session starts with a pre-therapy interview with parents, during which we diagnose your child's everyday functioning. Together, we determine the child’s challenges and the best way forward with the goal to improve participation in social and family life. We conduct Melbourne Assessment test (scale 2) of limb function. To improve therapy outcomes, we exclusively work in small groups; each child is individually supervised by one trained therapist.
