Culinary turnout for visual perception and manual dexterity

Culinary turnout for visual perception and manual dexterity

The course is based on the original program of the therapists of the Colorful World Foundation, and the inspiration for its creation was the TV program MasterChef Junior. Activities carried out during the turnout will focus on stimulating manual dexterity and the correlated function of visual perception. Our goal is to combine a culinary adventure with individually tailored to the needs and problems of the child therapy. During the course of the camp, our eye and hand therapists will work with the patient on improving visual function in such areas as tracking, gaze tracking, gaze transfer and improving eye-hand coordination. The kitchen will be a great place for creative small motor exercises and work on the child's manual dexterity. Classes will be held both in our state-of-the-art culinary studio and well-equipped specialized offices.

Visual perception and manual dexterity turnout is dedicated to children with:

  • cerebral palsy (CP);
  • a variety of visual problems;

  • difficulties in perceiving and processing the surrounding reality;
  • motor and eye-hand coordination disorders;
  • difficulty concentrating attention;
  • problems with body coordination and/or difficulties with motor play;
