Learned in the earliest years, the ability to stay upright, stand and walk in the later years of a child's life becomes an automatic activity, performed without awareness. The ability to move allows one to be independent and affects the quality of further life in all aspects. Adopting an upright position is one of the determinants that make it possible to explore the surrounding world, to learn, to enter into relationships.

Maintaining an upright position for an appropriate part of the day is an essential element that enables a child to develop other life functions.

For your child:

  • we will conduct a detailed diagnosis of functional abilities based on the standardized testing tools we have and specialized video analysis of gait;
  • we will create an individualized motor development program;
  • we will improve the quality of gait, the ability to transfer to high positions, support muscles to actively resist the force of gravity, increase the mobility of peripheral joints.
  • We will use the modern equipment available in our Gait Lab: Innowalk, podoscope, pediatric treadmill with pressure relieving system, verticalizers with abduction, walking track, therapeutic stairs.
