A properly functioning upper limb is the ticket to cognitive development and experimental experience of the world. Early started hand therapy gives better results and continuous improvement in upper limb motor functions, which in turn significantly affects the child's sense of independence and satisfaction.

In hand therapy classes, we take care of the structural preparation of the limb by mobilizing soft tissues, improving the range of mobility of joints to work most effectively in the desired function. During rehabilitation, we use elements of kinesiotaping, NDT-Bobath therapy, constraint-induced necessity therapy (CIMT), juggleboards and interactive computer games on a specialized controller and NEOFECT SMART BOARD device. We strive to improve the performance of activities of daily living and select orthopedic supplies to effectively counteract deformities.

For your child:

  • we will conduct a detailed diagnosis of functional abilities based on the standardized testing tools we have: Melbourne Assessment Scale, MACS;
  • we will create an individual program for the development of manual function;
  • we will adjust therapy to improve functioning in the daily environment.

For you, the Parent:

  • we will provide guidance to support your child during daily play and activities;
  • we will help you select appropriate orthopedic supplies;
  • we will suggest how to organize your child's space to make it as ergonomic and developmentally inspiring as possible.
